SXSW: This year’s South by South West is only days away! The Nordic countries will again this year host some awesome events. Here are the ones you’ll definitely don’t want to miss.
Learn from the Nordics: Rebuild, Rethink, Design-think Your City
Living in the Nordics is a good life. Year on year the Nordic countries are in the top of the World Happiness report, created by the United Nations in 2012. The cities are acclaimed internationally for the high living standards – that’s where design thinking comes into place.
About the event, the Danish Design Centre writes:
In the Nordics, we make use of design and technology to build better, more liveable and connected cities. The panel will explore how urban development should be driven by both a profound understanding of how people move through the city and live in it as well as new technology. Also, the panelists will also discuss how to view the city as a design opportunity from A to Z.
